Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Awarely collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: October 2026Contents
1. Who We Are & Scope
Awarely ("we", "us") operates the Awarely AI video creation platform from Canada. This Privacy Policy applies to our website, applications, and related services (together, the "Service"). It describes how we handle personal information of visitors, registered users, and marketers who participate in our affiliate program.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide:
- Account data — first and last name, email address, password (stored only as a salted hash), and optionally a phone number or profile image.
- Content data — prompts, scripts, uploaded images, backgrounds, characters, and other materials you submit, plus the videos and images you generate.
- Transaction data — credit purchases, coupon usage, and affiliate earnings. We never see or store your full card number or bank credentials: payments are processed entirely by PayPal, Stripe, and Binance Pay.
- Support data — messages you send us by email or through support channels.
Information collected automatically:
- Usage & device data — pages visited, features used, IP address, browser type, and timestamps, collected through server logs and cookies needed to run the Service.
- Anonymous analytics — page views and key in-app events are written by our own server to daily log files. Visitor counts use a salted SHA-256 hash of IP address and browser, not a cookie, raw IP, or cross-site identifier.
- Captcha — Google reCAPTCHA is used on our login and registration forms to prevent abuse, subject to Google's own terms.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Create and manage your account, and authenticate you securely.
- Render, store, and deliver the videos and images you create.
- Process credit purchases and calculate affiliate commissions.
- Send transactional email (verification, password reset, and, where applicable, purchase receipts).
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Maintain and improve the Service, including debugging and performance monitoring.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
4. Legal Bases (EEA/UK Users)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on the bases of: contract performance (providing the Service to you); legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service, preventing fraud); legal obligation; and your consent (for optional communications, which you may withdraw at any time).
7. Data Retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active. Generated media is retained according to your plan's retention setting (default: 7 days for free-tier media files), after which it may be deleted automatically. Transaction records are kept for as long as required for billing, accounting, and legal compliance. You may request earlier deletion of your account and content by contacting us.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any right, email info@awarely-motion.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law (typically 30 days). We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
9. Security
We protect personal information with industry-standard measures, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), salted password hashing (bcrypt), access controls, and separation of payment processing from our systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
10. International Transfers
Awarely operates from Canada. Your information may be processed in Canada and in other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection rules than your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for such transfers.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or through the Service at least 15 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was most recently revised.
